In 1997, Sun-Brite Foods Inc. acquired Unico Foods.

In Italian, Unico means unique - one of a kind - and that is exactly what we strive to be. Our products are traditional, yet distinct and unlike any others in the food market. We offer a wide range of Mediterranean-style products and ingredients to compliment any meal and we pride ourselves on using only the highest quality ingredients in the preparation of our products. We are a national company, spanning from coast to coast, and though we specialize in Mediterranean-style food products, we are most definitely Canadian. However, our corporate borders reach beyond Canada. By importing resources from other countries we are able to develop a strong international network.
